The Institute of New Imaging Technologies (INIT) at the Universitat Jaume I (UJI) in Castellón, Spain, is the coordinating force behind Fair Game. A world-class public research institute with deep expertise in computer graphics, human-computer interaction, and digital literacy, INIT brings a dedicated video game research group focused on the development and design of video games always having in mind ethics, safety, and responsible principles, whose members also teach on UJI’s Degree in Video Game Development, shaping the values of the next generation of game makers from day one. With a strong track record leading Horizon Europe and Erasmus+ projects across multiple countries, INIT has the research excellence, the international infrastructure to deliver at scale, and the moral conviction to drive a project that puts children’s rights at the heart of gaming.

All Digital

All Digital leads the communication and dissemination efforts of FAIR GAME, including awareness campaigns, events, and the creation of multimedia content. Based in Brussels, it is a leading pan-European association representing over 100 member organisations across Europe, which have together trained more than 2 million people. All Digital promotes digital inclusion and ensures that every European can benefit from the opportunities of digital transformation.

8D

8D helps make online games safer and fairer for children. They run co-creation labs with young players, create the “Child Rights in Gaming Pledge,” and advise the gaming industry on children’s rights. Based in the Netherlands, 8D has evolved into a full service design agency. They leverage play and design thinking to drive social impact, employing various creative formats ranging from games to websites, workshops, videos and creative participatory approaches to research.

University of Limassol

The University of Limassol (UoL) trains and supports Young Ambassadors who lead awareness campaigns and help design project activities. They ensure children’s voices are included in workshops and industry discussions. Based in Cyprus, UoL is a private university in Cyprus, bringing together expertise from business, technology, innovation, social sciences, and humanities. Through its Research Center, UoL actively participates in European and national projects that connect academic research with real social and industry needs.

Save the Children Finland

Save the Children builds digital literacy and safe gaming skills for children, parents, and educators. They lead the implementation of workshops with children, produce educational materials, run online parents’ evening sessions, and share FAIR GAME results widely to have lasting impact. They are a leading global children’s rights organisation. They secure every child’s right to life, protection, education, and participation in Finland and around the world.
